PROGRAM #SOMOSH2O
#SomosH2O is a program of the organization Sonidos de la Tierra dedicated to raising awareness about the management of water in an equitable and sustainable way. It uses music as a means to inspire people and communities to join actions and good environmental practices.
At a global level, #SomosH2O contributes to Goal 6 of the Sustainable Development Goals: “Clean Water and Sanitation, to protect and restore ecosystems related to water, including forests, mountains, wetlands, rivers, aquifers and lakes”, in order to be part of an environmentally active community.
ORQUESTA H2O SONIDOS DEL AGUA
H2O Sonidos del Agua Orchestra is the global ambassador of the message of awareness for the care of water by performing in prestigious stages of the world with an attractive and innovative thematic repertoire related to its cause.
The orchestra uses sustainable instruments made by the musicians themselves with elements related to water such as pipes, hoses, taps, bottles, jerry cans, caps, etc.
In recognition of its good job of raising awareness about equitable and sustainable water management, the orchestra received the UNESCO Artist for Peace nomination in Paris in 2016.
H2O Sonidos del Agua Orchestra deepens its impact with the 65 Youth Orchestras from Sonidos de la Tierra Network by motivating the communities of Paraguay with transformative actions that provide environmental solutions to their surroundings.
WATER HARP TOUR
H2O Sonidos del Agua Orchestra, with its new addition, the “Water Harp”, (“ARPA DE AGUA”), aims to deepen and expand the message of environmental awareness, both at a LOCAL and INTERNATIONAL level, so that it sounds louder and reaches more people every day.
The “Water Harp» (“ARPA DE AGUA”) -an original creation in its concept, design and technology- consists of a metallic structure that, due to its shape, size and ornaments, refers to the Paraguayan harp. Its purpose is to take, from the heart of South America, the voice of clean water with the sound of its dazzling water strings playing on the main stages of the world.
The Water Harp is part of the H2O Sonidos del Agua Orchestra in the “Water Harp Tour” with marvelous presentations in Paraguay and at Expo Dubai 2020.

H20 Sonidos del Agua Orchestra presents “Water Harp” (“ARPA DE AGUA”). For its creation, the artist Fernando Amberé Feliciángeli, made use of elements such as iron and glass, besides firehose to develop hydraulic parts.
